KENORA, Ont. -- Ontario Provincial Police have laid drug-related charges against two women following a vehicle stop in Kenora.
Police, in a release issued Wednesday, said just before 1 a.m. on Saturday officers stopped a vehicle on Highway 17 east.
The investigation led to the arrest of a 36-year-old woman from Winnipeg and a 29-year-old woman from Kenora.
Police located about 15.7 grams of cocaine, 3.9 grams of methamphetamine, Canadian currency and items associated with the drug trade.
The street value of the drugs is estimated to be nearly $2,700.
They will appear in Kenora Court on August 10 to answer to the charges.
