Area divers are looking for tips from the public about a pair of missing dive markers in Lake Superior.
The floating buoys indicate the location of two popular heritage dive sites along the North Shore.
The Puckasaw and the Howard are two wrecked ships near the Welcome Islands that were marked with buoys.
However, the Superior Underwater Exploration Society, which installed the markers, says two of them have gone missing.
The group's vice-chair, Richard Harvey, says he's not sure if they were removed intentionally or accidentally, but says they represent a big loss.
Each buoy costs around $1,500, and are installed only after careful review.
Harvey adds they're protected by law.
