(KENORA, ON) Members of the Kenora Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have charged two Kenora men after the weekend.
On Saturday July 11, 2015 at approximately 2:30 a.m., police conducted a vehicle stop downtown Kenora for a Highway Traffic Act violation. Police determined the driver had been consuming alcohol and transported him to detachment for further tests.
As a result of this investigation, 40 year old Mark GRIFFITHS of Kenora has been charged with Driving with Over .80 mg of Alcohol in his Blood contrary to section 253(1)(b) CC. He is to appear in Kenora Court on August 13, 2015 to answer to the charge.
On Saturday July 11, 2015 shortly after 2:30 a.m., Members of the OPP pulled over an All-Terrain Vehicle (ATV) for a traffic violation on the north side of Kenora. Police determined the driver had been consuming alcohol and transported him to detachment for further tests.
As a result of this investigation, 27 year old Cody PRICE of Kenora has been charged with Driving with Over .80 mg of Alcohol in his Blood contrary to section 253(1)(b) CC. He is to appear in Kenora Court on August 20, 2015 to answer to the charge.
