Two long-standing hospitals in the northwest are joining forces.
Terrace Bay's McCausland and the Wilson Memorial in Marathon will become the North of Superior Healthcare Group as of April 1.
Jason Nesbitt is Chair of the McCausland Board of Directors. He says this announcement is the culmination of work that has been in the working stages for nearly 10 years.
“Ironically I’ve been telling people that the only thing that’s really going to change is our logo,” McCausland said during an interview with CFNO Radio.
“We’ve been working together now for 10 years, so nothing from the hospital’s standpoint is going to change because we’ve really been doing this forever.”
Both hospitals will maintain their names.
