THUNDER BAY – Two people are dead following a County Park area house fire.
In a media release issued by the Thunder Bay Police Service, officials confirmed that Firefighters, police and paramedics responded to a structural fire in the 300 block of Brant Street just before 10:30 p.m. Sunday.
A 60-year-old man was brought to the Thunder Bay Regional Sciences Centre where he died from his injuries.
A second person was pronounced dead at the scene.
Names of the victims are being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
The Thunder Bay Police Service and Ontario Fire Marshalls Office are now investigating.
