Ultimate Gymnastics is pleased to announce that they will be hosting a two-day Acrobatics and Tumbling Camp Aug 6th & 7th at their facility located at 977 Alloy Drive.
The camp is a first for Ultimate and will be conducted by Sarah Koenig, Head Coach of Acrobatics & Tumbling at Concordia University in Mequon, Wisconsin.
Koenig’s visit to Ultimate Gymnastics is part of a recruiting trip and is just the beginning of what looks to be an amazing long-term partnership between the club and the school.
Registration is open now.
The camp will be beneficial for gymnasts, dancers, synchro swimmers and cheerleaders who wish to improve on and or add to their skills.
Campers will enjoy a brief introduction to the program offered by Concordia University and receive instruction on 4 skill sets including Acrobatics, Pyramid, Toss and Tumbling.
Ultimate Gymnastics co-owner Greg Balec, no stranger to building strong long-term relationships with NCAA schools through his career in summer college baseball, feels this new venture will only serve to create incredible new opportunities for local athletes wishing to pursue post-secondary education through sport.
Athletes wishing to sign up for the camp are urged to call the club at 344-3547.
