(KENORA, ON) Members of the Kenora Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are reminding the public to lock their vehicles at all times.
Police remind the public that these actions are crimes of opportunity, leaving vehicles unlocked and valuables inside place a target on your vehicle and property.It may be as simple as ensuring valuables are out of sight and taking the time to lock your vehicle. Also, consider recording serial numbers and taking photos of personal property for documentation purposes.
The OPP would like to remind everyone to report suspicious persons who are lurking near vehicles or residences by calling 1-888-310-1122. Remember: “Crime prevention is every one’s responsibility!”
