It was remarkably like a simple hockey check.
The Chevrolet pick-up truck was southbound on Algoma St approaching the intersection at Camelot St in the center lane.
The Honda Civic was right beside in the curb lane. Truck shoulders sedan, sedan goes flying up onto the snow bank and then the sidewalk, the whistle blows and the 75 year old male driver of the pick-up truck gets a penalty for an unsafe lane change.
This all happened at about 11:30 this morning, so traffic was a bit snarled for about a half hour while the Honda was being tugged out of the snow bank.
There were no injuries.
