UPDATE: Cyclist taken to hospital after collision with motor vehicle

THUNDER BAY – A 56-year-old male cyclist was taken to hospital after a collision with a motor vehicle. Emergency crews responded to the intersection of Camelot and Cumberland Streets at about noon where they attended to the cyclist.

THUNDER BAY – A 56-year-old male cyclist was taken to hospital after a collision with a motor vehicle.

Emergency crews responded to the intersection of Camelot and Cumberland Streets at about noon where they attended to the cyclist. who had collided with a Ford Mustang.

A release from the Thunder Bay Police Service says the cyclist allegedly ran the red light and collided with the vehicle.

The cyclist was taken to Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre by ambulance with minor injuries.

Charges are pending.
