Ontario Provincial Police are advising motorists that Highway 11/17 has now been reopened westbound traffic from Highway 590 at Kakabeka Falls to Ignace.
Police issued the initial closure notification in both directions on Wednesday afternoon, a winter storm pounding much of Northwestern Ontario. The eastbound lane has been fully re-opened to traffic heading in that direction.
Drivers are cautioned to drive carefully in winter conditions.
