UPDATE: Kenora OPP calls dive team as search for 14-year-old girl continues

KENORA -- An OPP dive team is scheduled to arrive in Kenora on Monday as the search for a missing 14-year-old girl continues. Azraya Kokopenace of Kenora was last seen leaving the Lake of the Woods District Hospital at 11:20 p.m. on Apr. 15.

KENORA -- An OPP dive team is scheduled to arrive in Kenora on Monday as the search for a missing 14-year-old girl continues. 

Azraya Kokopenace of Kenora was last seen leaving the Lake of the Woods District Hospital at 11:20 p.m. on Apr. 15. Witnesses observed her walking into the wooded area across from the hospital on Lakeview Drive.

She is described as a 5'5" Anishinaabe young woman with a slim build, brown shoulder length hair and brown eyes.

She was last seen wearing a grey hoodie and blue jeans.

Members of the Kenora OPP, the Northwest Region Emergency Response Team and an OPP K9 unit conducted a track of the area on Friday. Teams are continuing to search for the missing youth.
