UPDATE: OPP says body found west of Shabaqua is missing Thunder Bay man

A body found in a white pick-up truck off a bush road eight kilometers west of Shabaqua has been identified as missing 42-year-old Thunder Bay man Terry Brasseur. Thunder Bay OPP say they responded to the scene on Wednesday night at about 8:15 a.m.

OPP led a search earlier this month for missing 42-year-old Thunder Bay man Terry Brasseur, whose body was found on Wednesday night west of Shabaqua.

A body found in a white pick-up truck off a bush road eight kilometers west of Shabaqua has been identified as missing 42-year-old Thunder Bay man Terry Brasseur. 

Thunder Bay OPP say they responded to the scene on Wednesday night at about 8:15 a.m. after a couple checking their minnow traps stumbled on the vehicle.

A post-mortem was called for to provide positive identification of the victim.

Police spent several days earlier this month searching for the missing man, who was seen driving a white Ford pick-up truck at the time of his disappearance.
