Video: Police seek convenience store robbery person of interest

The woman is the second person of interest in a robbery of Alley's Variety nearly two weeks ago.

THUNDER BAY -- Investigators with the Thunder Bay Police Service are seeking the public's assistance to identify a suspect in a robbery that took place earlier this month.

The robbery occurred on Alley’s Variety on Franklin Street South on July 14.

Police on Friday released a video showing a female person of interest that had been identified during the investigation.

Anyone who can identify the woman is asked to contact the police at 684-1200 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 or online at www.p3tips.com.

The first suspect, whose information was released by police the day after the robbery, is described as a 20-to-30-year old male standing about five-foot-five, weighing about 155 pounds.

He was wearing a black Michael Jordan cap, white-framed sunglasses and a maroon coloured t-shirt with the words “Union College” at the time of the robbery.

Police had said that suspect was last seen in a red or burgundy four-door car that was headed west on Walsh Street, being driven by a woman.
