May 12, 2016 – Repairs completed at the Chamberlain Pumping Station this afternoon have allowed for the gradual restoration of water system pressure to customers in Zone 2N.

Temporary measures have been implemented to bring the Station back online. However, efforts to restore full system pressure are expected to continue overnight.

The precautionary boil water advisory issued by the Thunder Bay District Health Unit remains in effect for customers in the Zone 2N area. Notice will be provided when the advisory is lifted.

Residents city-wide are encouraged to continue limiting non-essential water consumption.

The Environment Division would like to thank all residents for their patience as repair and restoration efforts continue.

Questions may be directed to Infrastructure and Operations Dispatch at 625-2195. More information will be distributed as it becomes available.
