GILLIES TOWNSHIP – A home in Gillies Township on Highway 588 was destroyed by fire early Friday morning.
The occupants of the building returned home from working the night shift to discover the fire.
No one was hurt, however, there were pets inside the home at the time of the blaze.
Highway 588 was closed during the investigation, but is now open to one lane.
Drivers are asked to use extreme caution in the area.
