Response to Foodborne Illness notice by Thunder Bay District Health Unit:
As reported this morning, the Valhalla Inn is in the midst of an investigation with the Thunder Bay District Health Unit.
“The safety of our guests and associates is of utmost importance to us which is why we were diligent and reached out the Thunder Bay District Health Unit when contacted by our guests and have since been fully cooperating in their investigation.
As communicated by the Thunder Bay District Health Unit statement as of Thursday, May 19th, 2016, “The Valhalla Inn remains open for food production as no ongoing risk has been identified”
