THUNDER BAY—Thunder Bay Police have laid a charge in connection with a two-vehicle collision that left one vehicle overturned at the Dufferin Street and Secord Street intersection on the north side of the city.

The collision late Tuesday morning involved a compact car and a small SUV.

Police released new details about the incident in a statement Tuesday afternoon.

They said a compact car eastbound on Dufferin rolled onto its roof after coming into collision with an SUV northbound on Secord Street.

The male driver of the car was removed from his vehicle and taken to hospital by Superior North EMS paramedics, where he was examined and cleared for release.

Police have charged him with failing to obey a stop sign.
