Vehicle strikes side of house

Police arrested two teenaged boys after a vehicle struck the side of a Rockwood Avenue home early Sunday morning.

Thunder Bay Police Service officers responded to a call about a vehicle collision on Rockwood Avenue around 5 a.m. Police discovered a vehicle had driven into the side of a house. Police say the vehicle was stolen.

With the help of witnesses, police arrested two youths in the area and charged them both with stolen property. Police also charged the driver with impaired driving, failure to remain at the scene of an accident and breach of probation.

The investigation is ongoing.
