THUNDER BAY -- Weather and poor road conditions have led to the cancellation of a Health Unit flu clinic.
Officials with the Thunder Bay District Health Unit confirmed Monday afternoon that they were cancelling the clinic scheduled to take place at Vicker’s Heights Community Centre.
The clinic was the Health Unit’s final flu shot clinic for 2014.
Residents who had plans to attend the clinic, or anyone who is still looking to get their flu shot, the flu shot is still available at the Heath Unit on Wednesday’s during the immunization clinic by appointment.
It is also available from health-care providers and pharmacies.
