Police have released the names of the four victims killed in a fatal motor vehicle collision along Highway 672.
OPP officers responded to a report of a crash on the stretch of highway about 10 kilometres south of Highway 17 in Pic River First Nation around 10:25 p.m. Sunday. A truck traveling southbound collided with a car traveling the opposite way. Police say everyone involved were from Pic River First Nation.
Both drivers and two passengers in the car were pronounced dead at the scene.
Police have identified the victims as:
• Jaret LeClair, 20
• Greg Nabigon, 36
• Jordan Nabigon ,22
• Kody Nabigon, 17
A 42-year-old-woman who was in the truck was taken to the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre where she remains in serious condition. A 17-year-old-man who was in the car was treated at a hospital in Marathon and later released.
Family and friends of the victims expressed their grief in a YouTube video showing photos of the deceased.

The Fort Frances Lakers also expressed their condolences through a tribute on its website. LeClair spent the last three seasons with the SIJHL team.
“It is with great sorrow that we learned Jaret LeClair suddenly passed away,” Lakers Head Coach/GM Wayne Strachan said on the team’s website.
“Jaret was a brother, teammate and friend of many people that have been involved in our rganization/family. Jaret will be remembered on the ice for his competitive edge, sacrifice for his team and teammates, his will to be a winner, a solid two-way player and do whatever it takes mentality. But more so Jaret will always be remembered by the organization and teammates for his friendship, loyalty and perseverance to overcome anything in life. He will be deeply missed by all that he touched and remembered for the person he was forever.”
Post-mortems will be conducted in Thunder Bay.
The investigation is ongoing.
