Thunder Bay's newest bicycle lanes along Victoria Avenue continue to draw criticism.
The City's Active Transportation Co-ordinator Adam Krupper said he has received a number of complaints about the location of the new bike lanes.
Krupper said the majority relate to the narrowing of the roadway. Victoria Avenue has been reduced from four lanes down to just two to make room for the bikes.
While motorists and cyclists appear to still be a bit confused on how the lanes work, Krupper said in the long run the roadway will be safer.
Krupper added that he hopes the new bike lanes will create a safe and convenient way for cyclists to get around in Thunder Bay.
