Video: Police looking to identify armed robbery suspect

Police are searching for a suspect connected to an early morning robbery.

THUNDER BAY -- City police are asking for the public's help in identifying a suspect connected to a south side convenience store robbery.

Thunder Bay Police were dispatched to the Circle K Convenience Store at 1315 Arthur Street East on Thursday for a robbery that occurred at about 5:15 a.m.

Police learned a male brandishing a knife had entered the store and demanded money and cigarettes from the clerk.

The suspect fled the store with an undisclosed amount of cash in a northbound direction on Franklin Street.

The suspect is described as a Causasian male standing about five-foot-10 with a medium build. He has a brown beard and brown eyes. He was wearing a grey hoodie and dark-coloured sweatpants at the time of the incident.
