VIDEO: Two suspects in Mac's robbery

Police are looking for two females who robbed a Mac's on Simpson Street.

THUNDER BAY - Police are looking to identify two women allegedly behind a south side convenience store robbery.

Two women -- one armed with a knife -- entered the Mac's location on Simpson Street just before 11 p.m. on Monday night.

The pair made off with an undisclosed amount of cash. A silver vehicle was also seen on camera in the vicinity of the store at the time of the robbery. Police are encouraging that person to come forward.

The first suspect is described as a heavy set Indigenous woman, ranging from 5-foot-4 to 5-foot-7 in height. She was wearing a black scarf over her face, a black string tank top, black sweatpants, and black socks.

The second suspect is described as a medium-build Indigenous woman, ranging from 5-foot-4 to 5-foot-7 in height, with black medium length hair in a ponytail. She was wearing a black hoodie and black sweatpants with white lettering or number on the left leg
