THUNDER BAY – Those missing Christmas caroling over COVID-19 concerns this year can get their wassailing fix as part of a virtual event Sunday evening.
The Rotary Christmas Carol Sing 2020 will be livestreamed at 7 p.m. Sunday via the Trinity United Church’s website.
The event is free, but will encourage donations to the Christmas Cheer Fund, which provides food hampers and children’s gifts to families in need.
Campaign organizers have expressed their concerns the need for assistance could be greater than ever this year, as the pandemic cuts off traditional avenues for donating to the fund.
