Voters will have new opportunities to cast ballots in the upcoming provincial election.

The Thunder Bay-Atikokan riding office is located in the Northwood Plaza and is managed by returning officer Norma Hunt.  The Thunder Bay - Superior North office is located at the former Oliver Road School, and is being run by returning officer Peter Doig.

For the first time, eligible voters can vote any day from now until Election Day by special ballot at either of those two returning offices.

There will also be 10 days of advanced polls starting Sept. 2.

Both offices are open daily from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m.

Doig said election cards will be sent in the mail within two weeks.

He is now urging all eligible voters to get themselves registered before the Oct. 6 election.
