Wal-Mart has confirmed it plans to open up two new stores in the city by late 2012.
Wal-Mart Canada announced that the company finished negotiating with Target Canada for leases of 39 store locations held by Zellers. Two of the stores listed were in Thunder Bay – one at County Fair Plaza and the other at the Arthur Street Marketplace.
The stores are expected to be open late 2012.
