THUNDER BAY -- After being closed for the weekend to deal with a compactor fire, WalMart's Memorial Avenue location has reopened on Monday.

Firefighters on Friday said smoke from the fire had spread through parts of the usually busy store, which led to the evacuation of customers and staff.

The store was closed for clean-up.

No one was injured in the fire.
