Wanted man located: OPP

OPP News Release:

(THUNDER BAY, ON) Thunder Bay Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) and the Repeat Offender Parole Enforcement (ROPE) Squad had requested the public’s assistance in locating a federal offender wanted on a Breach of Long Term Supervision Order.

On June 8, 2015, Upsala OPP officers were observing for a dark grey 2005 GMC Sierra. Officers located the vehicle in question and the male suspect on Highway 17 west of Raith. The driver abandoned his vehicle and the male fled into the woods.

On June 9, 2015 at approximately 10:30 am officers from the ROPE Squad located Douglas ARCHER at a motel east of Upsala.
