LAPPE, Ont. -- A warrant has now been issued for a 22-year-old Thunder Bay man who was the subject of a search in the Lappe area Thursday.
OPP officers began the search after the man fled from police on two occasions, then approached a Lappe area home seeking assistance.
OPP officials say they are no longer actively searching for the man, who is not considered dangerous.
But they say he is wanted for breaking the conditions of a court order.
Police are again asking residents of the Lappe area to contact them if they spot a suspicious male, and to avoid picking up hitchhikers in the area.
