City of Thunder Bay media release
THUNDER BAY – The following streets will be temporarily closed due to repairs to the water distribution system:
· Pacific Avenue, from Spring Street to McIntosh Street, and the Pacific Avenue Bridge accessing the East End
· McKenzie Street, from Rowand Street to Simpson Street
· Simpson Street, from Atlantic Avenue to Pacific Avenue
The closure will be in effect on Friday, July 14, starting at 12 am midnight until to approximately 8 am, or until work is complete.
While the road will be closed to through traffic, local traffic will be permitted. Motorists are asked if possible, to avoid the area during the construction period.
Those travelling near the construction zone are asked to use extra caution and obey all posted signage.
