THUNDER BAY -- A north side water main break has left a tide of water pouring down Van Norman Street.
City crews are working at the scene of a break near the former Hillcrest High School building that happened around noon on Sunday.
The break left water gushing out of the road near the Van Norman and High Street intersection, with water flowing downhill towards Duke Street. The spread of water continues north down Duke Street.
The water was turned off at about 1 p.m.
Van Norman is closed between High and Duke Streets.
There is no timeline for when repairs and cleanup will be completed.
