Officials at Thunder Bay International Airport say heavy, wet snow is leading to departure and arrival delays and warn the public to check with their airline before venturing out.
According to the airport website, both WestJet and Porter Airlines have cancelled flights into Thunder Bay on Tuesday evening, while Air Canada, Bearskin Airlines and Wasaya Airways flights are listed as delayed.
WestJet also cancelled a scheduled departure to Toronto on Tuesday evening and another to Toronto on Wednesday morning, while Air Transat has delayed a flight to Winnipeg.
