THUNDER BAY – Westfort just might be home to this city’s least faithful marriages.

An analysis of Ashley Madison credit card transactions was released earlier this week and shows where Canadians spent the most money on the adultery dating website.

The breakdown looks at postal code prefixes, and shows that in Thunder Bay P7E residents spent more on Ashley Madison than any other area of the city. That postal code represents about $12,500 in transactions to Ashley Madison, almost $4,000 above the $8,600 reported transactions within the P7B postal code block.

Earlier last week hackers reportedly released data that was said to be stolen from Toronto-based Ashley Madison.  That data was used to create the postal code breakdown of credit card transactions.

Thunder Bay as a whole doesn’t appear to spend a lot of money with the dating website.  The Northwest only spends zero to $10,000 per postal code block. In some areas of the country, reports show residents collectively spending nearly $150,000 on the site's services.

Money spent on the website via local postal codes looks like this:

  • P7E: $12,500
  • P7B: $8,600
  • P7A: $8,200
  • P0T: $7,300
  • P7C: $7,000
  • P7G: $2,600
  • P7L: $154
