Local travellers heading to Calgary now have another flight option.
Westjet announced it will resume direct flights to and from Calgary beginning July 1.
The flights will operate five days a week, Monday's, Tuesday's, and Thursday's through Saturdays.
Flights will depart Thunder Bay at 6:30 a.m. with the return flights arriving at 10:42 p.m. on a Boeing 737.
Westjet previously offered this service, but cancelled it seven years ago.
