THUNDER BAY -- WestJet has reinstated direct flights to Calgary from Thunder Bay.

Thunder Bay International Airports Authority officials, in a Facebook post, said the flights will depart three times a week in May and June, and daily in July and August.

"It's a perfect opportunity to streamline your business trips, visit family or even make it to the Calgary Stampede this summer," reads the post.

The non-stop flights to Calgary returned in 2023 after a seven-year absence and have been offered seasonally ever since.
