Sports: 

The Thunder Bay Border Cats are playing a few home games this weekend.  Fun for the whole family. Games are Saturday at 6:35 p.m. and Sunday at 1:35 p.m. This weekend the Border Cats take on the Duluth Huskies at the Port Arthur Stadium. Purchase tickets online or at the Port Arthur Stadium box office!  

Markets: 

The Thunder Bay Country Market is open from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Canadian Lakehead Exhibition: 425 Northern Ave. head on down to buy local groceries, crafts, and gifts from the talented, hard-working local people who created them.   

The Peddlers Pop-up Market is happening at the hub Bazaar on Victoria Ave East from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. The hub Bazaar is a business incubator with anchor vendors and pop-up peddlers every Saturday! There's a cafe, eatery and even a museum! 

Visit Northern Nature Trading, a special kind of swap shop!  Bring in items you've found in nature and trade them for things in the collection. You can trade things made by nature like rocks, shells, fossils and pine cones. Trading is based on points; you are awarded points for what you know about your item, what makes it different from similar ones and the quality (clean, good condition). Festivals: 

Be a part of something truly magical and attend the Thunder Bay Buskers Festival! This beloved community event showcases a wide range of talent, from acrobats and comedians to musicians and dancers, and offers local artisans and food vendors the opportunity to showcase their unique products. 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the Bay and Algoma Historical District. 

Theatre: 

Alex the Artist is a delightful musical about a shy young girl who feels lost in the world but discovers a magical secret that reveals her true purpose in life. In order to fulfill her purpose, Alex must set out on a quest to stand up to the evil King and bring freedom back to all the artists in the land. Tickets cost $10 for children under 10 and $20 for guests 10 and up! Saturday’s performance will be held at the Thunder Bay Art Gallery at 2 p.m. All ticket holders will have access to the gallery's exhibits! Live Music: 

Calling all Swifties!  The Eras Tour is coming to Thunder Bay! Pink Mafia Productions presents: Taylor Swift: Eras Tour Drag Show & Dance Party at Wild Thyme, 55 Cumberland St N. $10 cover at the door. Doors open at 9 p.m. Show begins at 10:30 p.m. This is a 19+ event. 

Lost Nebula, a female fronted killer prog-metal from Mexico is back at Black Pirates Pub on Saturday! This band rules, and we're very excited to have them back! Joining the bill are locals Good Call, Silence of Death and 12 Gauge Prayer. $15 at the door, 19+, Doors open at 9 p.m. Show starts at 10 p.m.
