The Peddlers Pop-up Market is happening at the hub Bazaar on Victoria Ave East from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. The hub Bazaar is a business incubator with anchor vendors and pop-up peddlers every Saturday! There's a cafe eatery and even a museum!
The Thunder Bay Country Market is open from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Canadian Lakehead Exhibition: 425 Northern Ave. head on down to buy local groceries, crafts, and gifts from the talented, hard-working local people who created them.
Community Clean-Up:
Did you know the Trans Canada Trail weaves right through the City of Thunder Bay? Give it a little love with a community garbage pick-up focused on Prince Arthur’s Landing and Marina Park. Show up dressed for the weather and bring your enthusiasm! Gloves and garbage bags will be supplied. Everyone welcome. Email the organizers to let them know you're coming: [email protected]. Meet at the Marina- Boat Launch Parking Lot at 9 a.m.
Fundraisers/Charities:
Support people and families living with ALS in Thunder Bay and district Saturday by participating in the Walk to End ALS from 9:45 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. This is also an opportunity to remember and honour those that have passed away from the disease. Funds raised will go towards much-needed equipment, community support, and Canadian-led research. Registration and Start location at St Ignatius High School.
Workshops:
EcoSuperior Environmental Programs is holding a Beginner Bike Mechanic Workshop from 10 a.m until 1 p.m. at 303 Simpson Street. Topics covered in this workshop include how to patch a tube puncture, calibrate brakes & gears, adjust wheel & bottom bracket bearing compression, replace a brake lever and how to replace a chain.
