The Thunder Bay Country Market is open from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Canadian Lakehead Exhibition: 425 Northern Ave. head on down to buy local groceries, crafts, and gifts from the talented, hard-working local people who created them.
The Peddlers Pop-up Market is happening at the hub Bazaar on Victoria Ave East from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. The hub Bazaar is a business incubator with anchor vendors and pop-up peddlers every Saturday! There's a cafe, eatery and even a museum!
Visit Northern Nature Trading, a special kind of swap shop! Bring in items you've found in nature and trade them for things in the collection. You can trade things made by nature like rocks, shells, fossils and pine cones. Trading is based on points; you are awarded points for what you know about your item, what makes it different from similar ones and the quality (clean, good condition). Children and Youth Events:
Exciting news! the FBC is back at the Marina Skatepark weather permitting. Should we get rained out, skates will simply move to Cinema 5 Skatepark! No more missing a Sunday session because of weather! Head down from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. for lessons and 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. for open skate. Open to any one who identifies as female and the 2SLGBTQIA+ community. It’s only a $5.00 donation to join. And the best part? There’s free gear to use! Don't miss out on this fun opportunity to skate with like-minded individuals!
