Saturday, June 11

Markets:

The Peddlers Pop-up Market is happening at the hub Bazaar on Victoria Ave East from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. The hub Bazaar is a business incubator with anchor vendors and pop-up peddlers every Saturday! There's a cafe eatery and even a museum!

The Thunder Bay Country Market is open from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Canadian Lakehead Exhibition: 425 Northern Ave. head on down to buy local groceries, crafts, and gifts from the talented, hard-working local people who created them.

Charity/Fundraisers:

The Canadian Cancer Society is holding its 2022 Relay for Life! Start a team and bring a group to walk the track at the L.U. Hangar.  All ages are welcomed.  NO PETS.  All survivors will be asked to join in a survivor lap.  Food and beverages will be available.  Bring your lawn chairs and enjoy walking, entertainment and special activities scheduled throughout the event. Pride Events:

Head on down to Waverly Library at 2:30 p.m. for Story Time With TBay Drag Queens: Pride 2022 presented by the Thunder Bay Public Library  (285 Red River Road) The stories start at 3 p.m. Free to attend (limited seating capacity)  All attendees must wear facemasks while inside Waverley Library.

Live Music:

Kelsey's is holding a Patio Party featuring Kelly Daniels. stop by for live music and good vibes from 6 p.m. until 10 p.m. all ages are welcome.

Applauze Supernovaz and Shooting Starz will strut their stuff in Broadway After Dark! Fresh off wins at the Lakehead Festival of Music and Arts, these Applauze Teens and Adults are eager to share what they have up their sleeves! Tickets are only $15 each, Doors open at 7 p.m. and show begins at 7:30 p.m. at the Trinity Hall.

Black Pirates Pub & Sleeping Giant Brewing Company are proud to present the second night of DADFEST 2022! Saturday night features three sets by Private Eyes! Prizes for best dressed dad! Get your tickets here! (10$) 19+ Show starts at 9 p.m.

DJ Big D will be spinning non stop hits from the 90s & 2000 at the Foundry Saturday night for their 90s Music Party! Show starts at 10 p.m. $10 at the door 19+ photo ID required.

Sunday, June 12

Races/Fun-Runs:

It's time for the Metre Eaters June Classic 5 & 10km Race head on down to boulevard Lake to participate in the 5km & 10km Running Race open to the public. contact  Fred Bauer for more details 807-577-5822.
