Saturday
Crossroad Music Rocking the Rez 2025 will run from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Cross Road Music. It is free for all ages.
Thunder Bay’s queens and kings will take to the stage for a Triple Threat Drag Show at the Black Pirates Pub. The one-night-only pop tribute show will celebrate three iconic artists: Ariana Grande, Britney Spears and Chappell Roan. As hosted by Mz. Molly Poppinz, it will feature Amber Ail, Ivan Love, Miss Take, Fairy Contagious, Lolita, Ophelia and Olive Boogits. Doors will open at 9 p.m. and the show will begin at 10 p.m. The event is 19+ and valid ID is required. Tickets are $20 online and at the door.
Boomtown will play at the Wayland Bar and Grill at 10 p.m.
Sunday
The 14th Annual Hike for Hospice will start at 10:30 a.m. at Boulevard Lake. It will offer both an in-person and a virtual event for all those who want to support the Hike.
The Walk to Make Cystic Fibrosis History will run from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Half-Way Motors and Powersports. On-site registration and check-in for anyone pre-registered online will start at 11 a.m. Opening ceremonies will begin at noon, with the walk immediately afterward. A fundraising BBQ, flavoured popcorn cart, raffle and attendance prizes, a kids' area and some special guests will also be on-site. Those interested in fundraising can sign up online.
A Spring Patio Chef's Table will be held at 6 p.m. at the Red Lion Smokehouse. Tickets are $95 plus tax per person and a Prix Fixe Menu will be announced closer to the date. Those looking to book a space at this event or have dietary inquiries can call (807) 286-0045, email or check online.
Broadway After Dark, a teen and adult year-end concert, will run at the Trinity Hall Theatre. Doors will open at 7 p.m. with a showtime at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $15 and available online.
All weekend
The Superior Quilt Show will be held at the CLE Coliseum to celebrate and showcase quilts and related items featuring traditional and modern designs this weekend. It will run Friday from noon to 8 p.m., Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Admission for the show is $7, with children 12 and under free.
The Great Benjamins Circus will run at the Canadian Lakehead Exhibition this weekend with performances in high-flying aerial acts, gravity-defying jugglers, the thrilling globe of death, stunning acrobatics, hilarious clowns and more. It will have shows on Friday at 4:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. It will also have shows on Saturday at 1:30 p.m., 4:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Sunday
will only have a 1:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. show.
The Bandani Theatre Company Senior Class will present Sponge Bob The Musical at 7 p.m. in the Paramount Theatre.
The Cambrian Players will present the musical A Year With Frog And Toad at 7 p.m.
