Markets:

The Peddlers Pop-up Market is happening at the hub Bazaar on Victoria Ave East from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. The hub Bazaar is a business incubator with anchor vendors and pop-up peddlers every Saturday! There's a cafe eatery and even a museum!

The Thunder Bay Country Market is open from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Canadian Lakehead Exhibition: 425 Northern Ave. head on down to buy local groceries, crafts, and gifts from the talented, hard-working local people who created them.

The Thunder Bay Potter's Guild is taking over Goods & Co. Market at 251 Red River Rd from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. Meet and reconnect with local potters selling a wide variety of work in clay at The TBPG Annual June Sale.

Workshops:

Are you interested in starting your own business? Head down to the Township of Conmee's Community Centre and learn how you can do so! The Township of Conmee, in partnership with the Thunder Bay & District Entrepreneur Centre, will be hosting a Business Startup Workshop from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m. at the Township of Conmee Municipal Complex, Holland Road West, Kakabeka Falls, Conmee.

Fundraisers:

Friends of the Thunder Bay Public Library present the Buck-A-Bag Booksale. Stock up for summer reading with a variety of books for adults, youth and children in all genres- DVD's and CD's too.  Location is in Victoriaville Centre outside of the Used Book store.

Walks/Runs:

Head out for the inaugural High Noon 24 Hour Trail Race & Relay Event at Kamview Nordic Centre. Choose between the Solo category, 4-person or 8-person relay. ​The goal is simple: Challenge yourself to cover as much distance as you can in 24 hours. Your final distance is all up to you.  Run, walk or crawl. This is YOUR race, and a chance to test your true grit in a welcoming and fun place. Sign up here!

Festivals:

The City's Maamawe Summer Festival & Showcase will be held from 12 p.m. until 9 p.m. at Marina Park. The focus of the Maamawe Summer Festival and Showcase is to bring the community together in a good way and provide an event that we can all share and celebrate Our Community Maamawe – All Together. to find out more about the Maamawe Summer Festival, visit its website!

Pride Month Events:

Pride is taking over In Common this Saturday night and throwing it back to the 90s and early 00s for a Retro Pride Dance Party! Hosted by Mz. Molly Poppinz with special guests Amber Ail and Ivan Love at 40 Cumberland St S (next to the Casino) from 10 p.m. until 2 a.m. $5 at the door. 19+

Pride Month Events:

Fort William First Nation will be hosting a Community Pride Drag Show in the parking lot of the FWFN Youth Centre. The show is free and open to all ages and features Mz Molly Poppinz, Lady Fantasia LaPremiere, Ivan Love, Amber Ail, and many more! Show runs from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Dress for the weather!
