What’s Poppin’: Sept. 14, 2024

Saturday:

Fall-Into-Shopping Market will be open from 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in the CLE Heritage building with over 60 local vendors. There will also be raffle draws all in support of Our Kids Count.

Wake the Giant is back! The event celebrates inclusivity and Indigenous culture. It will begin at 11 a.m. at the Thunder Bay waterfront.

Story Time with TBay Drag Queens and Crafting with Queen will be at Mary J.L. Black Library. Join the free, family-friendly event form 2:30 to 4 p.m.

The Kam River Fighting Walleye start their 2024-25 Superior International Junior Hockey League regular season against the Dryden Ice Dogs. The puck drops at 7:05 p.m. at Norwest Arena.

Sunday:

The Kam River Fighting Walleye wrap up a weekend series with the Dryden Ice Dogs. The game starts at 2 p.m. at Norwest Arena.

All Weekend Long:

The Ontario Manitoba Championship 2024 is here! It will be a weekend full of cricket action. It is free to attend, most of the games will take place at Chapples Park Cricket Field.
