The Treaty 3 Police Service and the OPP have made an arrest in relation to the death investigation of Charles Minshall of the Whitefish Bay First Nation.
The death of the 61-year-old was discovered in that community on July 22.
A 16-year-old from Whitefish Bay First Nation was arrested and charged Wednesday with first-degree Murder.
The accused will not be identified in accordance with the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
The accused is currently in custody and is set to appear in a Kenora courtroom.
Officers from the Treaty 3 Police Service and the OPP’s Northwest Region crime unit are continuing the investigation.
