Wilderness North Lodge structure destroyed in fire

The structure was completely destroyed when fire crews arrived. but no injuries were reported.

ARMSTRONG, ON - A Monday morning fire has completely destroyed a structure at Wilderness North Lodge.

The Armstrong Detachment of the OPP responded at approximately 5:00 a.m. on Monday. The structure was destroyed upon their arrival.

OPP said in a release there were no occupants inside at the time of the fire, and no injuries reported.

The lodge is located on Highway 527, approximately 16 kilometres south of Armstrong.

The investigation is continuing, and any members of the public with information regarding the fire are asked to contact the Thunder Bay Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police or Crimestoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).
