THUNDER BAY – When is this winter going to end?
According to Environment Canada not anytime soon.
The long-range forecast shows another five centimetres of snow is en route, and will being to fall Thursday evening.
Periods of snow will end on Friday afternoon, but not before another two centimetres of accumulation is left on the ground.
Friday comes with a high of -5 C, and the nighttime will feature a low of -17 C.
There is a bit of good news by the end of the weekend and into next week as Sunday through Wednesday is expected to feature temperatures between 2-to-5 C.
Despite temperatures in the snow-melting range, Monday is still expected to bring some flurries.
