THUNDER BAY—The city has announced the lengthy closure of most of a well-used route that connects Golf Links Road and Balmoral Street.
Starting at 7:00 a.m. Thursday, the section of William Street between Golf Links Road and Barton Street will be shut down.
The city said in a news release issued Wednesday afternoon that the closure will be in effect for up to two weeks to allow for asphalt resurfacing.
It said the construction schedule is subject to change, as various factors such as weather may have an impact on project timelines.
