THUNDER BAY - A winter storm currently parked over the city of Thunder Bay is causing several flight delays and cancellations at the Thunder Bay International Airport.
There are currently two flights out of Thunder Bay bound for Toronto that have been cancelled and several others delayed by as much as 30 minutes.
At least one inbound flight from Toronto Monday morning was cancelled and several flights arriving from Toronto are also delayed.
According to the Thunder Bay International Airport website, flights later in the day are all listed as on time.
However, travellers are advised to regularly check the status of their flight for any possible delays or cancellations.
A winter storm warning was issued over the weekend for the city of Thunder Bay and surrounding areas as a low -pressure system moved into the area Sunday night and is expected to dump between 15 and 25 centimetres of snow by the end of the day Monday.
The snow will change to a snow/rain mix Monday afternoon and is expected to stop by 5 p.m.
