THUNDER BAY — Up to 10 centimetres of snow could be on the way for the city and areas to the east.
Environment Canada issued winter weather travel advisory statements on Monday for Thunder Bay, as well as Nipigon, Schreiber, Marathon, and Greenstone.
The snow, which may fall heavily at times, is expected to start Monday afternoon and extend into the night.
Environment Canada said freezing drizzle is also possible, especially overnight and into Tuesday moring.
The weather system is expected to lead to reduced visibility and slippery surfaces.
