MARATHON, Ont. – A 34-year-old Manitouwadge woman is dead after a single-vehicle crash early Friday morning on Highway 17 west of the Little Pic Bridge.
Ontario Provincial Police, in a release issued on Friday, said Jessica Martin was killed in the collision, which saw her pick-up truck leave the roadway and come to rest in the westbound ditch.
Martin was pronounced dead at the scene.
OPP, which fielded the call at 12:02 a.m., continue to investigate, leaving Highway 17 down to one lane of traffic until further notice.
