THUNDER BAY – A 23-year-old woman is facing impaired driving charges after hitting a street sign and ditching her car.
OPP officers responded to a single vehicle in a ditch at the intersection of the Thunder Bay Expressway and John Street at 2:45 a.m. on Saturday.
A media release issued on Wednesday alleges the driver was westbound on John Street when she attempted to take the onramp onto the highway when she lost control, hitting the sign on the island and going into the eastbound ditch.
She is to appear in court in November.
